Members of T.R.A.I.N. display and operate a modular layout, comprised of a number of modules that are owned by our members. Modular railroading is an attractive alternative for people who may not have the space, time or money for a layout of their own, and allows them to fully participate in model railroading.

We have a mainline that is double-tracked, and a branch line that is mostly single-tracked.

Some of us who have home layouts have organized "round robin" visits where we visit, offer help, and enjoy operations.

T.R.A.I.N. members explore all aspects of model railroading at monthly meetings (usually held at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church on Vance Avenue). Many individuals in the organization have special skills in which they are proficient and they help others in developing their knowledge and enjoyment of model railroading. As a result, all members benefit from shared expertise.
